Choosing A College Of Natural Health

For many years, Jean had wanted to attend a college of natural health. Her family, however, was surprised at Jean's interest. Jean's father is a doctor of medicine while her mother is a therapist. Needless to say, Jean's parents believe that attending an American medical school is the only legitimate way to learn about and practice health. When Jean told her parents that she was planning to attend a college of natural health and holistic medicine, they weren't pleased at all. Her parents believed that the school was dealing with New Age nonsense. Jean's parents firmly believed that mainstream medicine is the only thing that can help cure and rid the body of illnesses. Despite her parents' disapproval, Jean decided to go ahead and attend a college of natural health. Jean had another goal now: she was going to prove her parents wrong. She was going to discover for herself the world of natural health and healing.

Today, there are practically hundreds of schools and colleges of natural health. Each of these schools offer varying accreditation programs. These colleges of natural health offer accreditation programs on aromatherapy, traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and the like. Each college that is offering natural health programs take a different approach. This makes it difficult for someone from the outside to really know which natural health accreditation programs are legitimate and which ones are not. No one wants to spend thousands of dollars and waste years studying something that had no worth after college. The right college of natural health, however, would teach students like Jean valuable and practical skills that can help her build a career in natural health.

Jean attended a career day at the Trinity College of natural health. This school is one of today's leading schools o natural alternative medicine. Jean talked to an advisor regarding her concerns. The advisor let Jean attend a few classes so she can have an idea of the classes. She also talked with the graduates and asked them about the kind of career opportunities they can have later on. Because of the advisor's openness and willingness to answer her questions and address her concerns, Jean was convinced that Trinity College of natural health was the school for her.
